Training Overview

Training lets you turn your own documents into quizzes. Upload a safety manual or an SOP, have Mason write questions from it, build a quiz, and assign it to your team. Rivvex tracks who passed and which questions users keep missing.

Training is currently available to site admins and organization admins. You’ll find it under Training in the left sidebar.

A Typical First Week

  1. Upload your documents in Settings → Documents and wait until each one shows as ready.
  2. Open Training → Quizzes → Create Questions and click Generate questions. Ask for 20 or so from 1 document.
  3. Read through what came back. Fix anything that’s off, mark the good ones as verified, and archive the rest.
  4. Go back to the Quizzes view, create a quiz from 10 of those questions, and set a pass score.
  5. Publish the quiz and assign it to a few users.
  6. Check Results a few days later to see who passed and which questions tripped users up.

What to Know Up Front

  • Documents need selectable text. Scanned PDFs aren’t supported yet. Each document can be up to 250 pages.
  • Questions are all-or-nothing. A multiple choice question only counts as correct when every right answer is selected and no wrong ones are.
  • Passing is final. Once someone passes a quiz, they can’t retake it. Their result stays on record as proof of completion.
  • Changing a document doesn’t change its questions. Questions are kept even if you delete the document they came from.
